ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENTS: (1009 – 2010 Examinations)

                    Sri Sitaram Vidyalaya Matriculation Higher Secondary School is synonymous with excellence, Of the 105 students who appeared for X11 STD Examination, 20 students got above 90%, 80 students passed with distinction, 23 students got first class and 27 students scored more than 1100. In STD X, Out of 106 students 23 students scored above 90%, 46 got distinction & 28 got first class.

In the Higher Secondary Examination-S.Gayathri with a total of 1182/1200 has been placed school first securing 200/200 in Accountancy, 199/200 in Commerce, 198/200 in Economics & Sanskrit. She is followed by V.Sriram – with a total of 1180/1200 having secured 200/200 in Business Maths and Accountancy, 199/200 in commerce & 198/200 in Economics, V.Vishnu Priya scoring 1164/1200 has secured the school third rank scoring 198/200 in Sanskrit. The centum scorers are 2 in Accountancy & 1 in Business Maths & 4 in Sanskrit (198)

A.G. Harish Ramnath Scoring 1159/1200 has been ranked first among the students who have taken Tamil as the second language.

The toppers of XI standard Common Examination 2010 are: Group 1- Science with Computer Science- S Chandramouli, Group 2- Science with Biology- S. Shreeganesh, Group 3- Commerce – B. Ramya.

The top three rank holders in STD X are R.M Divya Parameswari who scored 487/500, B. Akhilesh – 486/500 and C. Gayathri- 482/500, 3 students secured 100/100 in Mathematics, 2 students in Science, 4 students in Physics/Chemistry and 2 students in Sanskrit.

S. Pavithra scoring 472/500 has been ranked first among the students who have taken Tamil as the second language.

Prizes are awarded to toppers of various classes from the interest earned from the endowments by various donors, specifically created for this purpose.

Study of Sanskrit by all the pupils from STD 1 to V helps to school to offer the language upto Hr. Secondary  level besides enabling them to enrich the greatness of Hindu culture. It is another remarkable attempt of our Management which aims to upgrade the school according to the current trend of education enabling students to enhance their allround performance and create effective teaching learning environment.
