History:

This school was started with the blessings of His Holiness Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam in the year 1987. From a humble beginning the Institution has grown to its present enviable status. Character development and academic excellence are our avowed goals.  Indian culture and tradition form the basis of all our efforts. The school has shown phenomenal growth and spectacular development within two decades. Presently the school has a strength of 1790 pupils studying in classes from Pre KG to STD XII.  The school is functioning in its own multi – storeyed buildings with a well - equipped library, Hi - tech computer centre, Smart classes and science laboratories. All academic and other needs are taken care of. This is an English Medium Matriculation Higher Secondary School with Tamil/Hindi/Sanskrit as second language. Sanskrit is taught compulsorily to all students up to V Std.

Location : The School is located centrally at West Mambalam. The bus stop is very near to the school. The distance from Mambalam Railway Station is 0.75 Kms.The school is providing bus facility for the benefit of our school children to ensure safe commuting between home and school, keeping in mind the threat faced by school children who travel by crowded Auto rickshaw and other modes of transport. The bus facility is available from the nearest point in and around West Mambalam at a nominal cost. The Management shall decide the bus fare taking into account the boarding point, the operational convenience, cost and other relevant factors. Parents are requested to avail the bus facility.
